We all know how it feels to wake up to the rude surprise of a few new pimples in the morning. Sometimes I wish that I’ll wake up and find out that acne was nothing more than a really bad dream. Well there’s some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that acne isn’t a nightmare, and millions of Americans can attest to that fact. The good news is that every day new methods are being discovered to treat acne. I decided to look into Oxyderm to see how it compares to the competition.

How Does Oxyderm Work?

The idea behind Oxyderm is kind of a complex and confusing one. I tried to find out how it works exactly from the official Oxyderm website, but apparently they don’t even know because I wasn’t able to find out there.

I was able to learn from other sources that the idea behind Oxyderm is the concept of negative ions. Oxyderm uses an electrical release system to produce ozone, which they say sterilizes germs and reduces acne. Then, a violet light is used with the ozone to produce healthy skin.

Does that sound as silly to you as it does to me? Maybe I’m just cynical, but it seems to me like it would take more than air and purple light to cure acne. If I’m wrong, my next investment is going to be into buying a large apartment building filled with ozone and purple incubators and I’ll charge people $500 per night to stay there and be cured of their acne.

What Ingredients Are Used in Oxyderm?

The ingredient list for Oxyderm is very short: Oxygen.  Supposedly, the Oxyderm machine uses this oxygen to dissolve dirt, balance the pH of the oil on skin, and reduce inflammation.  As I mentioned previously, I am extremely skeptical of this method.  What makes me more skeptical is that the makers of Oxyderm are unable to provide any scientific research showing that Oxyderm actually works.

Is Oxyderm Worth It?

By now, you probably know my answer to this question. Do I think Oxyderm is probably a scam? Yes. Do I think it is overpriced? At a cost of around $100, I would say yes to this question also. Would I recommend it to my friends and family? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it to my enemies? Maybe if I was in a really bad mood.

I have a hard time coming up with the pros of Oxyderm. I guess you don’t have to worry about bad reactions to strange ingredients, and you probably aren’t allergic to oxygen so you don’t have to worry about that either.

The cons are that Oxyderm is expensive, it has no scientific evidence supporting it, and it doesn’t offer a money back guarantee. My recommendation for you is this: try to find a more traditional product, or at least one that has scientific evidence supporting it or a money back guarantee in case it doesn’t work for you. Since Oxyderm strikes out on all these points, I couldn’t recommend it to anyone.
